This policy explains when Blackbeard's Imaging offers a reprint, replacement, or refund for orders placed through this Design Studio website — including our Blackbeard's, Graveyard Shift, and Bootleggers product lines. It works alongside, and doesn't replace, our Terms of Service.
Every item is made to order — printed, cut, or otherwise produced specifically for you, exactly as shown in the design and mockup you reviewed before placing your order. Because of that, we can't resell a returned custom item to anyone else, and once production begins, an order can't be cancelled, exchanged, or refunded for reasons like a change of mind, an incorrect size or color you selected yourself, or a design choice you later regret. Please review your design and mockup carefully — check every angle, spelling, and placement — before you order.
We stand behind our own mistakes. You're covered for a free reprint, replacement, or refund (our choice, based on what best fixes the problem) when:
Contact us within 14 days of your order showing as delivered, at (443) 422-6772 or through blackbeardsimaging.com, with your order number and a photo of the issue. We'll typically respond within 1-2 business days with next steps. Reaching out to us directly first — before filing a bank chargeback or dispute — lets us resolve almost anything faster than a dispute process can.
Orders are printed and shipped through our fulfillment partner, Printful. Shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has shipped, unless the return or reprint is due to our error. Shipping timelines are estimates, not guarantees — we're not responsible for carrier delays, but we're happy to help track down a lost or delayed package.
We currently ship within the United States only (all 50 states plus DC). We hope to offer international shipping in the future — see below for how that would work.
We don't ship outside the United States at this time. If and when we do, the following will apply to any international order:
Your order goes into production about 15 minutes after you place it. Your order confirmation email includes a Hold my order button that works during that window: use it if you spot a mistake and we'll pause the order and contact you to fix it or cancel and refund. You can also call or text us at (443) 422-6772 right away. Once production starts, the order can no longer be cancelled, changed, or refunded per the section above.
When a refund is owed, it's issued to your original payment method. Please allow up to 5-10 business days for it to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
We may update this policy from time to time; the version posted here at the time you place an order is the one that applies.
